Jared Witt serves as lead pastor at First Sachse. He and his wife Angela have four children. Together they have been an integral part of the First Sachse community for four years.

Pastor Jared believes true life is found through a personal connection with Jesus Christ. As a result, his mission is to help people connect the dots between faith and life.

He is a faithful Bible teacher. Yet, you won’t find his messages difficult to understand. He presents biblical truth in simply so that the message is both clear and accessible to all.

Certainly! We have fantastic opportunities for your kids at First Sachse. Every Sunday morning, we offer age-graded worship environments tailored to kids from preschool through fifth grade. Here’s what you can expect for your child in our children’s ministry:

Absolutely, your kids’ safety is our top priority at First Sachse. We have comprehensive child protection policies in place to ensure a safe and secure environment for all children and youth who participate in our programs and activities. Our policies include:
  1. Background Checks: All staff and volunteers working with children undergo thorough background checks, including criminal background checks, to ensure they are suitable to work with minors.
  2. Training: Our staff and servant leaders receive training on recognizing and reporting suspicions of mistreatment and abuse. They are well-versed in the symptoms of child abuse and neglect and are mandated reporters under Texas law.
  3. Two Adult Rule: We maintain a strict “two adult” policy whenever children are supervised during our programs and activities to ensure their safety. This means that there will always be at least two unrelated adult workers present when children are under our care.
  4. Communication Policy: We have clear guidelines in place regarding electronic and verbal communication between staff, servant leaders, and youth to maintain transparency and prevent inappropriate interactions.

Our church community welcomes everyone, regardless of whether you’re new to church and faith or have been a devoted follower of Jesus for years. Our service at First Sachse kicks off at 10:30am, and attendees arrive approximately fifteen minutes before the start time. However, if you’re attending with children and plan to check them into our kids’ ministry for the first time, we recommend arriving before 10:15am. This allows our dedicated kids’ team members to assist you with the check-in process and ensure your little ones are comfortably settled before the pre-service rush. Moreover, it provides you with ample time to get yourself situated and fully engage in the service as it commences. We want to ensure your visit is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

At First Sachse, there’s no specific dress code to adhere to. Our diverse community embraces a wide range of attire choices, from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and button-downs. You’ll find some women in dresses and others in jeans, while men might wear ties, polos, or t-shirts. The key is to wear what makes you feel comfortable and at ease. We encourage you to come as you are, in the attire that suits your personal style and comfort. Your presence and connection with our community are what truly matter to us.

Absolutely! At First Sachse, we have a variety of recurring weekly activities and exciting events for newcomers and everyone in our community. Our primary gathering is our worship service, held every Sunday morning at 10:30am. It’s a great way to connect and experience the heart of our church.
