What is a small group?

A small group is 6 to 12 people who commit to gather together on a consistent basis to grow in their faith and as followers of Jesus.

Why do you have small groups?

Small groups serve as our primary discipleship environment. In small groups we learn to make disciples of one another so that we can make disciples of others.

What happens in small groups?

  • We read Scripture.

Reading the Bible is an important spiritual discipline we practice together at every small group gathering.

  • We pray for the nations.

Every small group gathering introduces one of the 100 least-reached people groups in the world.

Together we learn about their culture, their religious background, their greatest needs, and how we can pray for that people group specifically.

  • We learn about God.

In small groups we discover who God is how we can know God more. We do this by discussing basic Christian theology and studying the Scriptures together.

  • We build strong community.

Developing strong friendships with others helps us grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus. Through spending time together, engaging in meaningful conversations, and praying for one another regularly, we build strong community.
